What is a Initiative profile

An Initiative profile is the first step for you, as a potentially transformative change-maker collective, to participate in the Regenerative Knowledge Commons.

The Main section contains:

• a few required fields, such as brief description, email, associated localities, organization and membership types and page curator(s);
• a summary of key relations and description of practice are provided here as well;
• optionally there is also the ability to display multiple images, any relevant links (websites, social media, other affiliations), full social-entity name, start/end dates, a longer description, motivation for participating in RKC and legal structure (if any);

Other tabs contain:

• and, Playlists & More section that provides a space to organize:
  • frequently used patterns and interventions
  • narratives about one's Initiative,
  • and essence entries for this Initiative from any RKC participant.

Initiative Profile for FCiências.ID

The Regenerative Design team is an informal group within FCiências.ID, a non-profit private association, endowed with legal personality and with the public utility statute. It was created in 2017 and envisages to develop, support and potentiate R&D and innovation activities of its associates, therefore creating a more challenging environment for research and innovation. It is the legal representative of 20 research centers. It performs research work and manages R&D projects.

We believe immensely in the importance of supporting the development of the Regenerative Knowledge Commons.

About Essence Tab...

The Essence tab allows for anyone in RKC (including members of collective) to comment on what makes you unique along three different dimensions:

• Aliveness: What energizes a collective that really makes it come alive, beyond the functional of everyday existence.
• Offering: The unique value a collective offers in order to bring a higher-order of viability and vitality to, or evolve a particular system they are working to transform (this is context specific).
• Potential: A tendency in a collective that it is continually striving to manifest into existence.

Over time, this feature can offer deeper insights to what each collective as a whole brings to this co-creative space.
